Services available to students
All students receive classroom guidance support, but if you feel that your student could benefit from individual or small group counseling please feel free to call or email anytime and we can create a plan to best address your student's needs.
Individual counseling
Individual counseling is offered for students who need additional support with anxiety, attendance, emotional regulation, family change, friendship, grief/loss, self-esteem and confidence, coping skills, and/or behavioral support. Referrals can be made by parents, students, teachers and administration. I work the child's team (while respecting confidentiality) to assist them in their academic environment in the best way suited for that student.
We also have Sweetser clinicans available at Manchester School. If you are interested in having clinical counseling, I can assist you with that referral. Click HERE for more information.

Classroom guidance
Students will have access to classroom guidance once every two weeks with themes focusing on developing good character (honesty, respect, kindness, empathy, perseverance, etc.), digital citizenship, and friendship building.
Response to intervention team (RTI)
The RTI Team at Manchester has a variety of members from different areas of expertise within the building. RTI plans support students with academics, social skills, and attendance plans.
